Hello from the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains!

I am Shelley Jaye and I live in Port Townsend, Washington located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in the far northwest corner of the state surrounded by mountains, water and trees.

I am a geologist and geoscience educator forever fascinated by the stories written in the rocks and landscape.

My inspiration and materials come from Earth. I celebrate the beauty of our natural environment in the art that I create.
